Surf Etiquette

It should be noted in the UK (and around the world) less known spots (and even some beach breaks) have a local element - to avoid issues the following may help...

  • A polite nod is always good
  • Don't be loud in car parks / the line-up, unless you are local
  • Don't scream down telephones telling your mates to come to this spot in the car park / be seen obviously texting / messaging, show respect go under the radar
  • Calling when you are catching a left / right can help
  • See point 7 of the 8 Rules
